You are not strong enough

Because we humans are limited by time and space, it’s hard to comprehend Someone who is not. God created time, marking out periods of dark and light, warm and cold, activity and hibernation. He existed before anything else did and He will exist when everything we can see and touch is gone.

How can we wrap our minds around that? For me, I can’t. But I can accept in faith that it is so. It is as true as anything I can see, so I can believe and act on it as a part of life.

The second part of this verse is something believers need to get hold of and hang on to. We declare that the enemy can’t take us out of God’s hand, but in the next breath, we’re worried that we will do something to remove us from there.

Anyone means… ANYone.
You’re in that number.
You are not strong enough to remove you
from the mighty hand of God,
holding you treasured, loved, and safe.

Isaiah also mentions that our sins separate us from God, which is a strange conundrum, but this is my thinking:
Let’s say you’re holding a rock in your hand. It is resting in your upward-facing palm, visible, yet safe. It is close to you. In your presence.

Now, let’s say that this rock has done something horrendous against you. You will not let go of it, but you close your fingers around it, turn your hand downward and hold it away from you.
The rock is not taken from your hand, not unsafe, but it is separated from your direct presence.

God says that no one can undo what He has done. He has secured your salvation, Believer. Your eternity is secure. You are secure in the powerful hand of the Almighty and neither you — nor anyone else — can remove you from that place of security.

You CAN remove yourself from His presence with your unrepentant sin and poor, anti-God choices. Fortunately, that is rectified simply, with confession (agreeing with God) and repentance (turn away from that choice back to God).

What TRUTH to REJOICE in today! God is as God today as He has ever been and ever will be. He is as powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present as He was before He spoke light and life into existence. And this God, this holy and righteous God, holds you in His righteous hand, where no one and nothing can remove you—not even you.

No one can undo what God has done.

Now take a deep breath and get on with living the life God designed you for!
