“That is why we never give up.”

WHAT is why we never give up? What is it I need to grasp to keep me going when life is curling me tightly into a blubbering fetal-positioned mess?

“And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.” ‭‭           2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:15 NLT‬‬

If I can focus on my actual purpose in life, the reason I – and you – exist, everything changes.

See, we were created for the sole purpose of bringing God glory. That’s the reason we take this breath and the next. Now, He has different means for each of us to do that, and we need to learn our purpose & means for ourselves and walk boldly in that, but our main purpose in life is to bring God glory.

When I can focus on seeing how God’s grace is reaching more and more people, resulting in more and more thanksgiving to Him, allowing Him to receive more and more glory, I can unfold from that fetal curl and stand up straight and tall. I can lift my head and walk on in the life and work God designed me for knowing that doing so will bring more and more people to faith in Him and more and more glory given Him.
