You will be attacked, Believer. Most likely today.
The thing to remember is that the one you’re looking at is not your enemy. Not even the one in the mirror.
Satan has set himself against God, but realizes he is a created being while God is not. He understands God’s power and that his efforts to attack God directly won’t work.
That’s where we come in. Think about it. If someone comes after you, you can, for the most part, not be consumed by that. But let that one attack your kids or your siblings or your parents and it’s on like… yeah, you know.
This ancient enemy of God is also our enemy and knows how much God loves us. He knows that attacking us, breaking us, hurts our Heavenly Father.
So he attacks. Even though he cannot win, he attacks.
When we partner up with another believer for accountability, it’s harder for the attack to do damage.
Mind you, I’m speaking of the accountability that says, “Hey, did you accomplish what you said you would?” AND “Hey, what’s going on? You seem a little off today.” It’s the kind of partnership where one can call the other and say, “I need help” and get it.
That’s the person you can stand back to back with to conquer the attacker. That’s the person who will cheer you on and pull you back.
We all need and want that person in our lives and we should all be that person.
And when we partner with that person and add God into the partnership, we have developed that three-stranded cord that is so difficult to break.
Let’s examine ourselves today. Do we have a partner who will stand with us in the battle? Are we the partner who will stand back to back with our friend to conquer the enemy? Have we added God to the equation?
Are we ready for the coming attack?
