Finally! How to find God.

Oh how wonderful it would be to find God, right? But it’s impossible, because He’s in heaven and we’re down here. Except He’s omnipresent — everywhere all the the time.

UGH! I’m so confused!

It’s so hard for our finite minds to wrap themselves around our infinite God. He’s just something we aren’t able to truly comprehend. Mankind has been trying for centuries and hasn’t done it yet.

Some things we just have to take by faith. Believing in truth we don’t see or touch, but know it’s true anyway. We do that all the time. We don’t see gravity, but we’re certain it’s there. We see the results. So it is with God. We don’t see Him, but we see the results of His presence.

Back to seeking Him. If we’re to know this God who has rescued us from the consequences of sin, all we have to do is seek Him. He said we WOULD find Him if we do so with our whole hearts.

FAYE! What’s that mean???

Let’s look at the Amplified Version: “Then, with a deep longing, you will seek Me and require Me as a vital necessity and you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
‭‭
When we long for our Savior, our God, more than anything and seek Him amid the chaos of the world around us, among the unbearable circumstances, in the midst of our everyday — just as necessary to our lives as the air we breathe, we will find Him. When we find Him, we will experience all He offers — peace, joy, purpose, love…

Let’s make that choice today and every day. Choose to long for Him, to hunger for His presence, to find Him utterly necessary to live. Let’s look for Him in every situation. Let’s find Him and walk with Him and live in Him.
