Choose Your View

Sitting in my hotel room for the final few moments I realized something.

There are three ways to look at our day. Every day.

We can choose to try to look through a wall or a curtain that blocks off what is there, what is real. When we do this it’s very easy to fall prey to the what-ifs, depression and grief.

We can choose to look through a filter that gives us a brighter but skewed view of reality. That makes it easy to make incorrect assessments and act without a view of reality.

We can choose to remove all barriers and look at the world around us with clear vision. That makes it easy to walk tall, chin up and move toward what God created us to be.
