“When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.” David declared as he was captured by some really angry Philistines.

So, that means that when we’re facing the huge fears, like cancer or other disease, we put our trust in the Lord. For everything else, we can rely on man, right?

Nope. Not at all.

See, God is intimately interested in every detail of your life. He cares about all the things we consider mundane.

Regardless what scares you, your Heavenly Father wants you to trust Him.

That spider dropped down right in front of your face and sent your heart racing? Stop and declare where your trust is.

That car came mere inches from hitting yours? Declare where your trust lies.

You feel sick in a way you never have before? Tell God where you’re placing your trust.

No matter what calamity comes near, identify it and state unequivocally where your trust lives. Say it out loud. Let your ears hear it as you speak it to the spiritual realm around you. Say it as often as you need until your heart catches in and believes it, too.
