What would you be able to do if you knew without a doubt that you were protected by God?
Would you sing out loud? Would you dance? Would you go different places than you do now? Would you talk to people you don’t know? Would you share the gospel with people you do know?
What would you do if you knew without any doubt that God Himself is protecting you?
God was calling Israel to return home from their exile into captivity when He spoke these words through the prophet Isaiah. He is speaking them to you and I today.
God is telling you, “I am holding you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God.” Then He says, “I’m telling you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.’”
Just like a parent walking with a toddler, God is holding your hand to guide you and protect you, reminding you that with Him there, you have nothing to fear, that you can trust Him to help you.
What if you fully believed this truth? What if, just like that toddler holding your parent’s hand, you moved with confidence—not in yourself, but in the One who has you by the hand?
What would you accomplish for your good and God’s glory if you acted on the truth that God holds you by your right hand?
Today’s the day to get started.
Coffee, Bible, Journal.
