A Prophetic Word: To Those Who are Warring…

Dirty feet behind the words "To those warring, your Provision is coming"

It has been almost a week since I woke with these words on my mind,

“To those who are warring,
your provision is coming.”

Since this thought was totally foreign to me, I knew it was from God, so I set out to learn more of what He meant by the words.

Some will read these words and hear God’s voice deliver a truth specifically for them. Others may need further explanation, and that’s what I’ll attempt to provide from my week of prayer and study with Him.

This word is for a part of the Church that God has identified as the Muddy Bride.

This Muddy Bride is betrothed to Jesus, waiting for Him to come to take her to the marriage supper, but she is not truly ready for His return. What that means is, a person who at one time chose to believe in and follow Jesus, but then started following their own path, choosing other gods, including self, over Jesus.

God is saying to these true believers gone astray, that they are straining against the enemy and their own flesh and most cannot distinguish the difference between the two.

They are warring without truly knowing who they are fighting against.

God identifies them as His, as followers of the King, fully washed in the blood of the Lamb, now wearing the righteousness of God as a life covering. He also identifies the issue of their choosing paths according to their own will and way — thus making self the god of their lives. Their feet have become dirty, and they don’t belong to the Bridegroom (Jesus). Just like Peter needed cleansing, they do, too.

You may be part of the Muddy Bride. You may have walked so closely to Jesus at one time that you heard His voice almost constantly. Then this other thing became more fun, more comfortable, more enjoyable and you’ve walked so far away from Him — maybe even while attending church services — that you don’t hear Him at all.

You are tired, worn, flagging, falling, and failing. Your strength is gone.

God wants you to know that this is not all there is.

There is hope. There is life.

Your provision is coming!

Your provision, your portion, is Jesus, yet with your dirty feet, you are outside His will and must have them cleansed. Confess. Repent. Choose His will over yours moment by moment.

Your provision is coming! Look, He is here!

Wash your feet!
Fill your lamps!
Trim your wick!
Prepare!

Today is the day to make the change from Muddy Bride to Clean Bride, prepared for the return of her Bridegroom.

The scriptures and study notes:

“Remember that the Levitical priests—that is, the whole of the tribe of Levi—will receive no allotment of land among the other tribes in Israel. Instead, the priests and Levites will eat from the special gifts given to the LORD, for that is their share. They will have no land of their own among the Israelites. The LORD himself is their special possession, just as he promised them. Deuteronomy 18:1-2

The Levites/priests didn’t get land.Their provision was not of the earth/world. Their provision was God. Their share of the inheritance from God was God Himself. He is their special possession.

“And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And you have caused them to become a Kingdom of priests for our God. And they will reign on the earth.”” Revelation 5:9-10

WE who are believers are the priesthood. We have become His priests. We do not receive an inheritance from the world/earth. Our allotment is from God, in the person of Jesus.

“Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.” Romans 13:14

The presence of the Lord Jesus is our possession to clothe ourselves with. Doing so helps us choose to not indulge our flesh — evil desires.

““No,” Peter protested, “you will never ever wash my feet!” Jesus replied, “Unless I wash you, you won’t belong to me.” John 13:8

“Belong to” = receive one’s portion, share, allotment. We will not receive our allotment with dirty feet.

This is so good! But, there is another side to the Muddy Bride. She is the one in the trenches, the one fighting for the cause of Christ! There is so much more here! My prayer is that Holy Spirit shows you the “rest of the story” with dreams and visions and prophetic words! I love this all!!
