“Jesus told him, “I am the way,
the truth, and the life.
No one can come to the Father
except through me.”

Pretty bold statement, don’t you think? I mean, Jesus knew the truth, but I can just see the people who heard Him scratching their heads and thinking it was awfully bold to be said out loud.

There are those around the world who believe in heaven, regardless what they call it. A place of peace, an end to suffering. Heaven.

Many think there are multiple ways to get there, including self-discipline.

Jesus flat-out revokes that notion in 19 words. There is no other way by which we get to heaven outside of Jesus.

If you’ve listened to others say you can keep on doing what you’ve always done and are helpful and kind you’ll go to heaven, I hate to tell you this, but that’s a lie. A whopper of a lie.

See, the enemy doesn’t want you going there. He wants your soul to join him in the place of torment for eternity. He hates you. Not just doesn’t-want-to-talk-to-you hate, but wants-to-see-you-dead hate.

Today, let’s consider our personal trip to Heaven. As we look at our life’s roadmap, are we looking to ANYthing other than Jesus as the way to get there? If so, we need to confess that to God, then turn from that belief and choose Life through Jesus.

Today’s plea for action is extremely important. You don’t know how many heartbeats you have left on your life calendar before the last one. This issue needs to be settled well before then.
