Believer in Jesus, the enemy of your soul does not want you to know peace. He doesn’t want you to experience true love. He doesn’t want you to realize that you’re a uniquely designed, purposefully created person.
He wants your heart and mind to live in a continual state of chaos. He wants you to see God as either a cosmic vending machine or a giant fun-killer. He wants you to think the only interaction you can have with God will be Him judging and condemning you for all the horrible things you’ve done in your life.
Remember, the devil is not only a LIAR, he is the FATHER of LIES. He doesn’t just repeat them, he develops them. It’s up to us to recognize those lies and choose to live in the Truth instead.
For those who are in Christ Jesus–Christians, Followers, Believers, we are called different things–there is no condemnation. None.
God doesn’t point a long, bony finger at you
and tell you how horrid you are and how deserving of belittling and punishment.
The accuser does that.
God knows what you’ve done. Every thing you’ve done or said all your life and the things you’ll say and do the rest of your life. If you are His, there is NO condemnation from God.
The enemy of your soul who condemns you. He points that bony finger, reminding you of all the things you’ve done and tells you that God won’t…CAN’T love you because of that. The remedy? Learn who God says you are and what HE says about you and remind the enemy of the Truth. James says when we do this resisting, the devil has to flee from us.
Imagine the freedom of living your life forward as a Christian without the fear of the hammer being dropped on your life. Imagine knowing that you are dearly loved so deeply that when you have a thought that is contrary to that, you recognize it as a lie.
This birthright is yours, Believer. Learn it. Live in it.
