What a crowd!

“After this” makes you think there’s some good stuff before this verse starts. There is.

In the previous verses, John sees how God’s people are preserved. Through trial and tribulation, God is faithful to preserve those who bear His name.

Then, John is given this vision of people from every nation, every tribe, every language all gathered together with one purpose: to glorify God and Jesus.

Let’s think about that crowd. It’s not just all the believers from every nation – this vision narrows it down to languages. There are many countries in this world that have several languages as their unofficial languages. God isn’t leaving them out.

Even the smallest minority will be in this crowd, crying out as a part of the great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits in the Throne and from the Lamb!”

Believer, you may feel marginalized for some reason, but God doesn’t see you that way. He loves you so much! He includes you. He wants you. He accepts you. Even when the people of this world do not.

Plan now to be a part of that crowd standing before Jesus and lifting your voice in a unified roar declaring glory to God. Whatever keeps you in the margins now won’t matter a whit then.

Maybe we should start practicing that roar today. If I give glory to God and you give glory to God and she gives glory to God and he gives glory to God, our voices united become a lovely roar that reaches the Father’s ears and pleases Him.

Let’s get ready to ROAR, y’all!

Coffee, Bible, Journal.
