YOU have been given peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over all opposition.

The prophet Isaiah shared what God told him about the Jews who would be exiled and what would become of them. In the previous chapter, he prophesied about the Suffering Servant, whom we understand to be Jesus, the Christ.

Here, Isaiah is revealing that those who live to see this day yet in the future would experience something no one else had: complete protection from attacks of all kinds.

In other prophecies, all of disobedient Judah and Israel would suffer horribly at the hands of those sent by God as His tools of judgment. Here, Isaiah is explaining the difference in life after redemption through the Suffering Servant.

In that day to come, those who are believers in and servants of the Lord will be able to thwart every attack, whether physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

In that day yet to come, no weapon that is formed will prosper. It won’t matter if it’s nuclear or mundane, it will not have its intended effect.

In that day yet to come, every tongue that judges and lies against the believer will be silenced and proven wrong.

Wow! That’s amazing, right?

This peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me—this is that which I impart to them as their justification, says the Lord. (AMPC)

If you are a believer, you have been given peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over all opposition. It’s part of your heritage as a Child of the Most High in whom Jesus is reproduced.

As a believer, this peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over all opposition is the vindication you obtain from God, imparted to you as your justification.

Knowing that you are protected by the Almighty, given His righteousness, His security, His triumph should not only give you comfort for the coming days of trial and tribulation, but should propel you to move forward in sharing Jesus with everyone you are brought into contact with.

Whatever holds you back from sharing the precious gift of salvation with others is a weapon formed against you and it will not prevail. It may seem so in the immediate, but it truly won’t.

Those names people call you because of your belief in Jesus will not only be shut down, they will be proven wrong, so speak His name! Share His truth!

You can start living as though you believe these words today and lift Jesus high, trusting that He will draw people to Himself. You can be about the Father’s business without a care for what mankind can do to you. Today is your day!
