Devotional Marathon

I did it. I got hacked, y’all. I went on vacation and wrote my devotions, but didn’t record videos. I was selfish. Instead of sharing the beauty of my surroundings, I kept them to myself. I apologize.

At the same time, I am glad I did that very thing. I unplugged and spent down time with my husband.

The trouble is, much of that down time was negated when I got home and felt the pressure to get all the videos done, captions correct, all the things done to be able to present you near-perfect video devotions. UGH!

I recorded them over a couple days, but got stalled because, you know, life happened. Grandsons have baseball and football games, work things needed to be done, sleeping and eating is necessary. Today, I made a decision. Today, I pressed publish on all of the pending ones. Just… let them go. They’re not near perfect. I haven’t gone through the captions to be sure they’re correct. I just let them go.

I apologize that I’m not presenting to you the words of each of these devotions. If you’d like to see them, you can visit my Facebook page. You can view these even if you don’t have a Facebook account. When it asks you to log in or create an account, click “Not Now.”

What I am doing is sharing with you a dozen videos. I hope you enjoy them and are challenged by them.

Lesson learned? Stop thinking everything needs to be perfect. The things you present to the world are needed, period. Not sharing them hurts you and others.
